Walking into History
John Norris, author of Welsh Castles at War, is a long established writer covering all aspects of military history, particularly weaponry. He is perhaps best known for his feature coverage of historical re-enactment events which are published in several leading military history magazines.
Now a resident in the Teifi Valley, John has been able to utilise his knowledge, gained through research and interviews, and has developed skills as a tour guide in order to conduct specialist tours. He is currently developing tours covering the impact of major military campaigns on the Principality, such as the Norman Invasion, Owain Glyn Dwr's rebellion, the English Civil War and World War II.
