Over the last few years we've successfully hosted birthdays, anniversaries and wedding receptions on Penybanc Farm. We've gradually improved and restored more spaces for our guests to stay in. We've also now, since March 31st 2011, obtained a licence for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies in The Old Dairy. We can seat 60 plus for the ceremony itself and the Old Dairy can then be used again for the reception, sometimes in conjunction with the living rooms in the Byre and in Ceridwen.
Larger weddings, for up to 120, will need the hire of a marquee as well. By 2012, we'll have our own marquee to offer couples. We feel we're ideally suited to those who are looking for a rural, less commercialised, more individual - and often smaller - green event.
The way weddings work here, if they involve an evening event and accommodation, is on an exclusivity basis. You hire ALL the accommodation on site. We welcome additional camping when all the other accommodation is full.
